How long does gazebo assembly take?

It depends on the footprint and the construction. A compact 10 by 10 usually runs 4 to 7 hours. A 10 by 12 or 10 by 13 is typically 6 to 10. Large 12-foot structures run 10 to 16 hours and a 12 by 20 or a big cedar gazebo is usually a two-day build. These are approximate — a level concrete patio shortens it and a sloped lawn lengthens it.
What is the difference between a hardtop and a soft-top gazebo to install?

A hardtop has rigid roof panels that shed water through correct overlap, so the panels have to be seated in the sequence the manual specifies — a panel fastened out of order is the usual reason a hardtop leaks at a seam. A soft top uses a fabric canopy that has to be tensioned evenly, because a slack corner pools water and standing water is what eventually splits a canopy.
What surfaces can you install a gazebo on?

Does the gazebo need to be delivered before you assemble it?

Yes. The gazebo or pergola must already be delivered to the installation location before our team arrives. Just let us know once it's there and we'll schedule the assembly.
