The Best TVs to Buy This Black Friday (2026)

October 15, 2026

Large TV wall mounted on a stacked stone fireplace above a reclaimed wood mantel, Nashville TN

The best TVs to buy this Black Friday are the LG C6 for most people who want OLED, the LG B6 for the cheapest good OLED, the Hisense U7SG for the best picture per dollar at 65 inches and up, and the Samsung Frame or Frame Pro if the TV has to look like art. Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27, but several of these are already selling close to last year's Black Friday lows — so the real skill this year is knowing which prices are actually special.

Key takeaways

  • Black Friday 2026 is November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30; Best Buy's 2025 sale started a week early, on November 20.
  • TV discounts averaged 24.3% off list at their peak in the 2025 holiday season, according to Adobe — the popular models fell much further.
  • The LG C6 65-inch was already $1,399.99 in September 2026, close to the LG C5's 2025 Black Friday low of $1,296.99, so expect smaller extra cuts on OLEDs this year.
  • Store-only model numbers like the LG B6E can be good deals, but they often drop features and can't be price-matched.
  • A 75 to 85-inch TV usually weighs 50 to 100 lbs, so the mount and the wall matter more than the TV's price.

LG C6 — the OLED most people should buy

The C6 is LG's mid-range OLED for 2026, with sizes from 42 to 83 inches and a 165Hz panel for gaming. At launch the 55-inch was $1,999 and the 65-inch $2,699, but the 65-inch was already selling for $1,399.99 on Amazon in September. If you see the 65-inch well under that September price on Black Friday, it's a genuinely good buy.

Note that the 77 and 83-inch versions are sold as the C6H and use LG's brighter top-tier panel.

On the wall: the 65-inch weighs about 37 lbs without the stand and uses a 300 x 200 VESA pattern, so most mid-size brackets fit. We wrote a full guide to mounting the 65-inch LG C6.

LG B6 — the cheapest good OLED

The B6 is LG's entry OLED, with a 120Hz panel instead of 165Hz. The 65-inch lists at $1,999.99 and has already hit $1,119.99, a price TechRadar's team called a record low for what it rates as the best budget OLED of 2026.

At Best Buy you'll also see the B6E, a store-only version. In RTINGS' testing it performs the same as the B6, but it comes with a simpler remote instead of LG's Magic Remote and drops a couple of picture and sound features. At $999.99 for the 65-inch it's a fair trade for most people — just know it's a different model number, so other stores can't price-match it.

Samsung S95H — for bright rooms

Samsung's 2026 flagship is a QD-OLED with a matte, glare-free screen, which is what you want facing a window. It runs 55 to 83 inches; the 65-inch launched at $3,399.99. In the US the S95H is the model the UK calls the S99H, so don't go by European reviews of the "S95H" — that's a different TV.

Its ports are on the TV itself. Samsung sells a Wireless One Connect box separately (about $350 at launch) if you want only a power cord running to the wall.

Hisense U7SG — the most TV for the money

The U7SG is Hisense's top standard Mini-LED for 2026 (only its pricier RGB models sit above it), from 55 to 116 inches, with a 165Hz panel and four HDMI 2.1 ports. The 65-inch launched at $1,499.99 and has sold for $949.99 on Amazon. It's the one to look at if you want 75 inches or more without paying OLED prices.

On the wall: the 65-inch is about 43 lbs with a 400 x 300 VESA pattern. Our Hisense TV mounting page covers the bracket sizes for each screen.

TCL QM7L — big screens on a budget

TCL's 2026 QM7L Mini-LED comes in 55 to 98 inches; launch prices ran from $1,199.99 for the 55-inch to $2,499.99 for the 85-inch. The trade-off against the Hisense: it has two HDMI 2.1 ports instead of four, which matters only if you connect more than two current game consoles or a gaming PC.

On the wall: the 85-inch weighs roughly 72 to 75 lbs with a 600 x 400 VESA pattern — two-person territory. See our 85-inch TV mounting page before you order a bracket.

Samsung The Frame and Frame Pro — for a TV that looks like art

The 2026 Frame (55 to 98 inches; 65-inch $1,499.99) keeps its ports on the TV. The Frame Pro steps up to Mini-LED and includes Samsung's Wireless One Connect box and a slim wall mount; its 65-inch launched at $2,000 and sold for $1,597.99 during Amazon's October sale.

The Frame Pro's box needs its own power outlet, separate from the TV's, so plan where it will live before installation day. Here's what's involved in a Samsung Frame TV installation.

How to tell a real Black Friday deal

  1. Compare against this fall's prices, not the launch price. A "$1,300 off" sticker means little if the TV already sold for that in September. The prices in the table above are a good baseline.
  2. Check the exact model number. Store-only versions like the LG B6E differ by a letter and sometimes by features. They can still be great value — just compare like with like.
  3. Look for the native refresh rate. "Motion Rate 240" usually means a 120Hz panel, and "Motion Rate 120" a 60Hz one. The spec sheet lists the real figure.
  4. Count the HDMI 2.1 ports if you game. Four is better than two when you have several consoles.
  5. Read the return window before you buy. Holiday return periods vary by store and change every year.

Before the TV goes on the wall

A new TV is the easy part. Here's what decides whether it hangs safely:

  • Weight. A 65-inch TV is roughly 35 to 50 lbs; a 75 to 85-inch TV is 50 to 100 lbs. Sony's 85-inch Bravia 7 II, for example, is 101 lbs without the stand.
  • The mount's rating. Choose a bracket rated comfortably above the TV's weight and matching its VESA pattern (listed in the manual).
  • Your wall. Drywall over wood studs is the simple case. Brick, stone, tile and concrete need different anchors — see mounting a TV over a fireplace if that's where it's going.
  • Cables. Decide now whether you want the cords hidden inside the wall. It's much easier to do on installation day than afterwards — here's how to hide TV wires.
  • Thin screens. OLEDs are very thin and flexible at the edges; lift and hang them with two people, holding the frame rather than the panel.

Frequently asked questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Retailers usually start their TV sales a week or more earlier — in 2025 Best Buy's Black Friday sale began on November 20 — so prices often drop before the day itself.

Is Black Friday really the best time to buy a TV?

It is one of the best. Adobe found TV discounts peaked at an average of 24.3% off list price during the 2025 holiday season, and the big-name models dropped much further. The catch is that many 2026 TVs are already close to last year's Black Friday prices, so compare against what the TV cost this fall, not against its launch price.

Should I buy an OLED or a Mini-LED TV?

OLED gives the deepest blacks and best picture in a dim room. Mini-LED gets brighter and costs less at big sizes, which suits a sunny living room or a 75-inch-plus screen. If the TV will face a window, lean Mini-LED; if you mostly watch at night, lean OLED.

Will you mount a TV I bought on Black Friday from any store?

Yes. We mount most TVs from 32 inches to 85 inches and up, whatever brand and wherever you bought it — Best Buy, Costco, Walmart, Amazon or anywhere else. Have the TV and a VESA-compatible mount on hand for the appointment.

Do I need to buy the wall mount too?

Yes — our prices don't include the bracket, and we don't sell mounts. Send us the TV model and your wall type before you order one, and we'll tell you which kind of bracket fits so you don't buy one that can't reach your studs.

How much does it cost to mount a new TV in Nashville?

TV mounting starts from $110 per TV up to 55 inches and from $140 per TV over 55 inches, with drywall included. Hiding the cables in the wall starts from $60 per TV. Your exact price is confirmed before any work begins.
